One of my own favorite recipes using Corn Flakes is Garlic Cheese Chicken. It’s easy and packed with flavor and the crunchy coating gives it great texture. To make it you will need to crush Corn Flakes. I put them in a gallon zip top bag and use a hand roller to crush them. You can also crush them in a food processor.
Then you will need to pie plates to add your dipping ingredients to. In the first pie dish you will add melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder and salt. In the second dish you will add your crushed Corn Flakes crumbs, shredded cheddar cheese, grated parmesan cheese and a dash of pepper.
Then you dip your boneless chicken breasts in the butter dish first and coat then coat with the crumb mixture. Bake and enjoy!
- ⅓ Cup melted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ Cup Kellogg's Corn Flakes, crushed
- ¼ Cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Dash of pepper
- 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- In a pie plate combine melted butter, garlic, garlic powder and salt.
- In a second pie plate combine Corn Flakes crumbs, cheeses and pepper.
- Dip chicken in butter mixture then coat with crumb mixture.
- Place in a 9x13 pan lined with parchment paper.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes until juices run clear.
